You know those days when you are specifically craving something, and that feeling when you find exactly that; that’s awesome. If that something you are craving is Lobster, then keep on reading 🙂 The Lobster Monster is located on 3249 Yonge Street. This restaurant is accessible by subway (walking distance from Lawrence station) or car.
Lets get to the real business: What’s on the menu?
There is a huge amount of lobster dishes selection on the menu; Lobster Mac & Cheese Hot Dogs, Lobster Poutine, Lobster Sandwiches, Lobster Pasta, just plain Lobster and so much more… You get the idea, there is an abundance of lobster options here. You would definitely need a few visits to get through the menu. So here is what I got to try on my visit.
For starters, had their Lobster Bisque and Clam Chowder; it costs $9/small soup. If I had to choose between the 2, I would say Lobster Bisque is the winner. The clam chowder is a bit salty for my preference.
Also, had their lobster poutine. It was super rich and savoury. It comes with maple syrup; the sweet and salty combo is delicious.
For mains, had “Talkin’ Lobster Tacos”; got 4 tacos for $26. They are served with salsa and sour cream.
Another main dish I had is their “Neptune’s Delight Seafood Linguine”. It has scallops, tiger shrimp and comes with 2 mini lobster tail, you can add extra lobster tail for $7 each.
Finally, it was also the day of my birthday, so they gave us free dessert; Brownie Mountain Crackle. It was super delicious. The only other dessert they have on the menu is carrot cake. So naturally being obsessed with chocolate, I picked the brownie option (:
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. Everything can be shared, to get the most out of the menu. So check it out with your friends and family to satisfy those lobster cravings and share your experiences in comments below. 🙂
