Winterlicious 2016: Celestin

Winterlicious is here and a great time to try those 3 course meals at a super discounted price; here is what I got a chance to enjoy this year at Celestin’s lunch:

Starters: Moules Provencales with Peppers, Fennel and Garlic. I super enjoyed the creamy sauce that these mussels came with; just the right amount for an appetizer.

Among the other options was also Celery Root Soup with Chestnuts and Truffle Foam

Mains: European Sea Bass Filet stuffed with Prawns, Spinach and Saffron Beurre Blanc; need I say more it was super delicious, fish with prawns stuffed in it, is just double the bonus.

Among the other options was also Parisian Gnocchi served with Arugula, Pernod emulsion and confit tomatoes.

Desserts: Now here I was a bit disappointed with my dessert, I got flourless Chocolate Cake with Caramel Ice Cream. It was way too hard in texture for my personal preference. They are known for having one of the best Crème Brule, so I would recommend definitely picking that 🙂
